Alexander Henry Fenwick Armstrong (born 2 March 1970) is a British comedian, Actor and Television presenter.
Alexander has made various of appearances throughout is notable career. In 1995 he made his first television appearance were he starred in The Thin Blue Line but only had a minor role. His breakout performance in television was in TV show Life Begins were he played Phil Mee from 2004 to 2006. He carried on making smaller appearances until he was casted in BBC show The Sarah Jane Adventures as Mr Smith which he played from 2007 till 2011. Up to date this has been his last major role in television work although still makes minor appearances in TV shows.
Armstrong is also known for film work were he made his screen debut in 1999 film Plunkett and Macleane and played Winterbun. His last film appearance to date was in 2009 film Skellig were he played Mr Hunt.
In 2009 himself and Richard Osman presented BBC game show Pointless. It is still going on in 2013.

On 27 August 2003, Armstrong married Hannah Bronwen Snow, an events organiser According to Ben Miller, his stag do activities included icing cakes.
He has three sons - Rex (born 2007) and Patrick (born 2009). Just before Armstrong appeared on This Morning on 24 June 2010, his wife went into labour and later gave birth to their third son, Edward.
